CourseGraphic  To prepare nursing assistants for working in nursing facilities and skilled nursing facilities. Background checks are required prior to any nurse aide course.
Course Comments: Completed and cleared background check (state law ) physical and 2 Step TB test required prior to 1st day of class. If not completed/cleared you will not be allowed to attend class. Scrub outfit (any color/style) and gait belt required for clinical. Textbook and gait belt can be purchased at ICCC bookstore, off internet or borrowed from someone (student choice).

Transfers to credit as HSC-172 for 3 credits.
